Brittany & Donivan Maternity Shoot

Congratulations to this beautiful couple! I was so excited to be apart of capturing these special moments before their new arrival. The inspiration was, vintage picnic/outdoor playful vibes. The beginning of their photoshoot started looking like it might not happen. Almost to the minute of the time we had planned, a huge thunder storm appered directly on top of us, shaking the walls of the farm house we gathered in for cover. We started planning alternative ideas for their shoot, but ultimately they wanted to keep the same theme. Brittany wasn't going to make it much longer, being 36 weeks pregnant. We knew it would be a maternity shoot that day, or a shoot with her baby in the near future. It was now or never. We waited it out, and within about an hour the storm had passed. It left a beautiful smokey haze all over the surrounding mountain tops, and an overcast haze that every photographer would hope for on a hot, middle on the day shoot. We started immediately, we got the picnic photos done right before the sun came out from behind the clouds and started heating things up. Just in time for their steamy wet ending. Timing and weather couldn't have been any better . A perfect day, with a perfect couple! Can't wait to see your beautiful little girl!
